Uses:

People who love cinnamon use it often. It is one of the oldest spices in history. Add it to any apple, pear, peach or berry recipe for added flavor. Mix it into hot chocolate, tea or coffee to add zip. Many baking recipes call for some measure of cinnamon. If your baking recipe doesn’t try adding a ½ teaspoon anyway or sprinkling it on top. You might be surprised at the improvement it makes. Cinnamon can also be added to yogurt and rice.

Storage:

If not stored correctly, cinnamon can become stale and lose its flavor quickly as the natural oils dissolve. To slow this process, cinnamon should be stored in a cool, dry, dark space in an airtight container.
