Step by Step

Step 1: Plan

Set the start and finish date of the fundraiser (2 weeks is usually the most effective). Make sure you have set and communicated to the team a specific financial goal with a deadline. Identify clearly how the money being raised will directly benefit them.

Step 2: Communicate

Download a copy of our parent letter sample from info@sugarnspiceinc.com. Fill in your specific details. Send it out to all the parents to set their expectations and engage their participation.

Step 3: Sell

Send two (2) Sugar ‘N Spice order taker brochures with every player. One brochure for the player, one for the parents to take and record orders. All monies should be collected by the fundraising coordinator from players. Instruct all players to have checks made out to the appropriate team organization.

Step 4: Collect

At the Fundraising deadline, collect all the cash and checks from the players. Be sure to also collect all the Sugar ‘N Spice order taker brochures as well for your records. This will be very important!

Step 5: Order

Tally up all your orders using our convenient tally MS Excel spreadsheet which can be downloaded at info@sugarnspiceinc.com. Fill out the order form and fax it to:888-888-8888. You can pay by VISA, MasterCard, or American Express, or you can send a group check or Money Order made payable to Sugar ‘N Spice Inc (allow up to 10 days for your delivery). We will send you a shipment tracking number by e-mail and place a follow-up call to you upon delivery confirmation.

Step 6: Distribute

Using our shipping, tracking order delivery date information, set a distribution day for your fundraising team. When the shipment arrives, immediately check the number and type of cases to your original order. The cases are printed on the outside and the shipment also contains a packing slip. Keep the packing slip, it is very important. It is your receipt. Once the shipment is confirmed, have your fundraising team distribute the spices.
