Sour Cream Cinnamon Coffee Cake
Filling:
1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 tsp CINNAMON
1 cup chopped nuts
½ cup butter or margarine
Batter:
1 cup butter or margarine
½ cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 9x13x2 inch pan. In a medium bowl, combine all of the filling ingredients mixing well. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter/margarine, ½ cup sugar and eggs. Add flour, baking powder, and salt mixing well. Stir in sour cream and vanilla creating a stiff batter. Spoon half of batter into prepared pan spreading it out over the bottom. Sprinkle half of the filling over the batter. Cut through layers with a knife. Repeat layering.
Bake 45 minutes.
