

Maple Cream Pie
I always cook for the holidays, but to be honest its good year round.
Ingredients
- I deep dish frozen pie crust.
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup.
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Topping:::4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted.
- 3 tablespoons sugar.
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake 10 minutes. next melt butter and heavy cream in sauce pan. Whisk in cornstarch and sugar until thick about 6 minutes. Next stir in maple syrup and maple extract whisk well ..next pour filling into crust and drizzle butter on top..next whisk together topping ingredients and sprinkle over the filling. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes center should be set but still a little wobbly. Now refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours so it will slice well

If company's coming. Wonderful with a hot cup of coffee. It will take any gathering up a notch. Because I try to put love in every bite
