Description
Dry Rub: Coat your steak (skirt steak or flank steak are popular choices) generously with the seasoning blend. Allow the steak to rest for 30 minutes to an hour after applying the dry rub.
Marinade: Mix the seasoning blend with liquids such as olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, or soy sauce to create a marinade. You can also add fresh ingredients like chopped chilies, garlic, and cilantro. Marinate the steak for a few hours (but generally no longer than 12 hours to prevent the steak from becoming mushy)
